Job Description
One of our clients is looking for a Generator Operator.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operating and controlling machinery and systems used in power generation such as generators, and other auxiliary equipment
- Monitoring various indicators, gauges, and meters to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems within the power plant
- Making adjustments to controls and settings based on operational needs and changes in demand to maintain efficient and safe operations
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues or hazards
- Being prepared to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, such as equipment malfunctions and power outages
- Adhering to established procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe working environment
- Working collaboratively with other operators and maintenance personnel to coordinate activities and achieve operational goals
The ideal candidate:
- 1-3 years experience in a similar role
- The ability to work on their own initiative as well as form part of a team
- Fluency in English
